Baby-sitting is available for the children of Mothers and Others so that members can relax and enjoy the meetings. Mothers and Others adhere to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton's Safe Environment Program; Safe Environment Program requires all sitters to have their backgrounds checked before working in our rooms and attend an annual 40-minute seminar on safety. Two cleared adults must be in the room at all times.
Mothers are welcome to bring their infants to the meetings if they are between the ages of 0 and 6 months. However, with discretion, we ask that children over 6 months of age be placed in the appropriate babysitting rooms so all of our members can enjoy the meetings without disruption. If you have a concern or question regarding your child's age, please feel free to contact Gretchen Alaniz for special considerations.
Babysitters are not responsible for administering medication to the children. Any other special instructions can be left with the babysitters in the child's room.
All children are required to have their own necessities (diapers, bottles, change of clothes, etc.) in a bag with their name on it. PLEASE LABEL ALL contents clearly. Infants are requested to bring their own blankets, if desired. All children, except infants, will be provided with a snack. Parents are requested to provide a drink for their child. Please make sure it is labeled.
The pre-payment fees are $7.00 for the first child, $3.00 for the second child, and $3.00 for each additional child, for babysitting at each meeting. Members are encouraged to prepay. Prepayment provides automatic reservations and, if prepaid by the September meeting, then the month of September is free. If you pay monthly by the Friday before the meeting, the rate is $7.00 for the first child and $3.00 for each additional child. If you pay at the door on the meeting day, the rate is $10 per child. First time visitors are given the pre-payment rate ($7, $3, and $3) and allowed to pay at the door. Children may be dropped off for babysitting after 9:15 a.m. and must be picked up no later than 12:00 p.m. Babysitting fees are non-refundable.
Our babysitters use time-outs as a method of helping to deal with disruptive behavior. Please see Gretchen Alaniz for further information if needed.

If you need childcare services, we happily provide those at a nominal fee. You have 4 choices for payment. Click on any link below to purchase that option online. There is no need to fill out additional childcare forms when you pay on-line. However, if you wish to mail in a check, please fill out and include the Babysitting Pre-registration Form with payment and mail to M&O Babysitting Coordinator at 5605 Norris Drive; The Colony, TX 75056. Or print it out and bring it to the September meeting. Pre-registration will save you time and money. *Remember to write checks payable to "Mothers & Others".

1. Pre-pay for the entire year
- Our best deal with reduced rates and sibling discounts!
- $7 1st child, $3 2nd Child, $3 additional children.
- 1 Month Free if you sign up before the September (2nd Tuesday of Sept) Meeting!
- Your children will automatically be signed up each month. No need to contact reservations. However, if you know ahead of time that you will not be able to attend, we appreciate a courtesy email or call to assist with baby-sitting planning.
- Your fee is non-refundable.
- If you prepay for the year after the September Meeting, you can still enjoy these benefits but you will not get 1 month free.

2. Pre-pay by semester
- Pay twice a year (9/14/10 & 1/11/11) if you are uncertain of your need.
- Reduced rates & sibling discounts - $7 1st child, $3 for each additional child.

3. Pay as you Go
- If you're worried that you may miss more meetings than you attend, then monthly is the way to go.
- Sign up and pay by the Friday before the meeting.

- Rates are $10 per child.
- Should only be your last resort.

5. Visitors and New/Prospective Members
- Visitors and Prospective New Members will enjoy our pre-paid rates above for their first meeting and will have the option of prepaying and signing up online after that. If you know ahead of time you'd like to visit, please contact babysitting reservations for more information.
